Established in 1969 by C.A. Taylor, our company got its start in Pasadena, Texas, as a general contracting and construction firm. Although the business originally bore its owner’s name, when Mr. Taylor’s son, Jeff, joined the ranks, it became Taylor & Taylor — or T&T, for short. Along with the name change came a shift in focus, from general contracting to concrete construction.

The father/son duo worked closely for years, with C.A. remaining on as a valued consultant even after retiring in 1978. Jeff and his wife, Dianna, continued the family business as co-owners, putting their personal touch on the company. They concentrated their efforts on offering quality craftsmanship and building steady customer relationships.

The company forged ahead, weathering the 1980s recession by expanding offerings to include services such as demolition, tree removal and hauling. T&T saw continued growth, thanks in large part to its quality people and the company’s reputation for on-time service and attention to detail.

In 1988, Jeff’s son, Ryan, became the third generation to join the business. He worked his way through the ranks and, in 2001, assumed leadership. Under his watch, T&T has experienced increased sales and expansion into areas such as underground construction and dirt work.

Today, T&T employs 65 skilled individuals on average, and is proud to remain a family-owned and operated business that customers can trust with their important projects. T&T is a licensed storm drainage installer, is certified in foundation construction and maintains membership with the American Society of Concrete Contractors and the American Concrete Institute.

The company has made its mark on over 1,000 projects throughout the Greater Houston area, and plans to continue forward, providing customers with the knowledge, equipment and service it takes to keep their projects on solid ground.
